DNO Investments
Investment portal with sector‑driven portfolio, insights & pitch submission
DNO Investments is a European investment firm focused on bold ideas and long‑term value creation across technology, energy, healthcare, real estate and other high‑growth sectors. The 2025 project aimed to elevate DNO’s digital presence from a static brochure to a dynamic platform. The site needed to convey credibility, showcase a diverse portfolio and articulate the firm’s philosophy while making it easy for founders to submit their projects. Clarity, speed, trust and growth were the guiding principles.
The brief
The task was to build a Webflow site, based on the ForHuman template, that combines a filterable portfolio with sector insights and a clear call to action. Requirements included:
- Platform: Webflow CMS with custom collections for portfolio items, sectors, team, insights and testimonials.
- Content: Static pages for home, investment focus, about, contact and legal; CMS template pages for individual portfolio companies, sector summaries and optional blog posts.
- Integrations: Filterable grid by sector, stage and location; sector‑specific tags; metrics bar; ESG commitment section; contact form with detailed fields and pitch‑deck upload; rich content fields for “Why we invested” and “Our role”; optional blog (Insights) for thought leadership; SEO‑ready slugs and metadata; analytics.
- Maintenance: Scalable CMS architecture, conditional fields for optional content, accessible design, performance optimisation and on‑page SEO.

The execution
The DNO website was built to position the firm as a forward-thinking investor. The home page opens with a clear mission statement and direct paths to explore the portfolio or get in touch. A trust bar highlights assets under management and deal volume, followed by an overview of six key sectors. Selected investments are presented through CMS-driven cards that link to full project pages. An about snapshot introduces the team’s mission, while an ESG section signals responsible investing. The page closes with a call for founders to start a conversation.
The Investment Focus page uses anchor links and tabbed navigation to break down each sector: what it is, why DNO invests, the criteria they seek, and a “More than capital” section on added value. The portfolio page features a filterable grid with micro-interactions and lazy loading for speed. Project detail pages provide a full view of each investment, including logo, quick facts, business overview, rationale, DNO’s role, and highlights or traction. A submission form on the contact page captures essential information, from stage and use of funds to optional pitch decks.
The CMS was designed to connect collections seamlessly, linking sectors to filtered portfolio views, projects back to sectors, and insights to related investments. Conditional visibility ensures fields like highlights or company websites only appear when relevant. Clean slugs, semantic headings, and dynamic metadata strengthen SEO, while responsive design and subtle animations ensure a polished experience across devices.
- Filterable portfolio grid: sort investments by sector, stage, or location

The impact
The new DNO platform positions the firm as a credible, modern investor with a clear investment thesis. Visitors can explore the portfolio by sector and stage, see exactly why and how DNO invests and quickly decide if their own project aligns. The submission form has increased the quality of inbound opportunities by gathering key information upfront, and the ESG and trust metrics reassure potential partners. The structured CMS and SEO‑ready architecture have laid the groundwork for future growth, enabling the team to expand content and add insights without developer assistance. Overall, the site supports DNO’s mission of backing bold ideas while communicating the rigour behind each investment.
