Efrosini Goudi
Digital sanctuary with intuitive navigation and compassionate resources
Efrosini Goudi is a licensed psychologist who wanted her online presence to feel like an inviting space rather than a clinical brochure. Too often, those seeking help are discouraged by jargon, stigma or impersonal websites. The challenge was to build a digital sanctuary: a site that demystifies mental health, guides visitors to the right support and reflects Efrosini’s warmth and professionalism. Clarity, speed, trust and growth guided the design, with an emphasis on making therapy approachable.
The brief
The project required more than a standard portfolio. It needed to:
- Bridge the gap: Break down barriers to counselling by presenting information in plain language and offering clear next steps.
- Design & UX: Use a minimalist aesthetic, soothing colours and typography, subtle animations and a responsive layout to create a calming environment across devices.
- Service structure: Organise Efrosini’s offerings—individual therapy, couples therapy, family counselling, online sessions—into distinct, easily navigable sections. Each page would explain who the service is for, what to expect and how to book.
- Biography & credentials: Highlight her qualifications, approach and values, supported by professional photography and testimonials.
- Resources & blog: Provide articles and guides about mental well‑being to educate and encourage visitors.
- Booking & contact: Include a secure enquiry form for appointments, with options for in‑person or online sessions.
- SEO & accessibility: Ensure the site is discoverable and usable by all, with clean code, proper heading structure and fast load times.

The execution
The design process began with a discovery session to capture Efrosini’s voice and audience. A muted colour palette, spacious layout, and warm typography create a calm atmosphere. Subtle scroll animations and micro-interactions add movement without distraction.
The home page opens with a reassuring headline—“Be kind to your mind”—and directs visitors to four service categories: Individual, Couples, Family, and Online. Each page outlines the therapeutic approach and addresses common questions. The About page shares Efrosini’s story, qualifications, and philosophy, supported by professional portraits from F/8 Studio.
A blog and resources section extends the site’s role beyond bookings, offering articles on topics such as anxiety, communication, and self-care. Calls to action throughout guide users to a simple contact form that gathers name, email, and preferred session type.
The site was built fully responsive, adapting seamlessly to desktop, tablet, and mobile. SEO fundamentals—meta tags, descriptive headings, alt text—were implemented alongside accessibility best practices. The result is a user-centric platform that lowers barriers to engagement and makes starting therapy less intimidating.
- Minimalist design & soothing visuals: create calm and encourage engagement with sensitive topics
- Clear service structure: helps visitors identify the therapy type that fits their needs
- Biography & credentials: build trust through personal story and professional photography
- Educational resources: position the site as a guide as well as a booking platform
- Intuitive navigation & responsive layout: ensure accessibility across devices
- SEO & accessibility: structured content and inclusive design improve discoverability and usability

“People find what they need and get in touch faster—the site feels calm, clear, and professional.”
