Mamfredas Resort

Luxury resort site with minimalist storytelling, immersive experiences & direct booking

Mamfredas Resort is a collection of eight private villas on the shores of Zakynthos, designed for travellers seeking a blend of seclusion and Greek hospitality. As the resort expanded its offering with curated experiences and themed packages, the owners sought a digital presence that matched their high standards. The project wasn’t just to list rooms; it was to convey the atmosphere of the place, showcase its architecture and location, and make it easy for guests to plan every detail of their stay. Clarity, speed, trust and growth set the tone for the work.

The brief

The brief called for a bespoke WordPress site that emphasises elegance and ease. Key requirements included:

  • Aesthetic & responsiveness: Minimalist design with subtle animations and thoughtful typography to capture the tranquillity of the villas. The site needed to load quickly and adapt seamlessly across devices.
  • Comprehensive content: Sections for philosophy, experiences, architecture, location, travel distances, reviews and two accommodation types (three‑bedroom and two‑bedroom villas). Each villa page would include descriptions, amenities, sleeping arrangements, floor plans, photo galleries and video walkthroughs.
  • Packages & services: A dedicated page for themed packages (Love, Wellness, Wedding, Birthday) and a services section covering transportation, rentals, housekeeping and concierge offerings.
  • Booking engine: Integrated booking page allowing guests to select dates, choose a villa, add packages and secure reservations without leaving the site.
  • Multilingual & legal: Support for multiple languages, plus pages for privacy policy, terms of use and cookie policy.
  • SEO & analytics: On‑site optimisation, structured data, Google Analytics integration and a sitemap for search engines.
  • Assets & support: Creation of corporate email accounts and signatures, production of visuals and 3D renderings for social media teasers, and post‑launch support for six months.

The execution

The engagement began with research and moodboards to align the resort’s visual identity. A design concept built on clean lines, whitespace, and elegant fonts set the tone. Navigation followed a clear narrative, allowing visitors to explore the resort’s philosophy, architecture, and location, read guest reviews, and then move into villa pages.

Each villa template includes a hero image, concise description, amenities grid, sleeping arrangement diagrams, downloadable floor plans, and a video tour. An “Experiences” section presents ten curated activities, while a dedicated Packages page showcases Love, Wellness, Wedding, and Birthday options with direct calls to action. The services page details transport, rentals, housekeeping, and concierge support.

A booking engine was integrated, enabling visitors to check availability, select villas, and add packages in one flow. Contact forms and branded corporate emails ensure clear communication. Subtle animations and parallax effects guide users through content without distraction. The build also included multilingual support, legal pages, and full SEO setup with meta data, alt text, and schema for accommodation and local business.

Google Analytics was connected for tracking. Graphics and 3D assets were created for the launch campaign, and a streamlined server setup ensures fast performance. Development followed a phased plan—research, proposal, design and build—completed in 35 days. Six months of free support cover updates, translations, and graphic requests.

  • Minimalist design & immersive content: communicates calm luxury and guides exploration
  • Narrative site structure: philosophy, architecture, experiences, and villa pages lead naturally to booking
  • Themed packages & services: Love, Wellness, Wedding, and Birthday options plus concierge services
  • Integrated booking: availability, villa selection, and add-on packages in one flow
  • Multilingual & legal compliance: wider reach and transparency across markets
  • SEO & analytics: structured data and tracking improve visibility and insights
  • Support & assets: branded emails, launch visuals, and post-launch updates for consistency

The impact

The new Mamfredas Resort website now serves as both an online brochure and a booking portal. Guests can immerse themselves in the villas’ design, explore recommended activities and choose themed packages before reserving their stay. The minimalist aesthetic and responsive design convey refinement, while the integrated booking engine has increased direct bookings. The packages page encourages upsells, and the detailed villa descriptions reduce pre‑booking questions. SEO optimisation and the creation of rich content have improved search rankings, while analytics provide data for future marketing. Overall, the site elevates the resort’s online presence, aligning digital storytelling with the quality of the physical experience.
